The internet and it’s multi-billion dollar apparatus loaded with weaponized apps and more is a “zero-sum race for our finite attention,” according to Time Well Spent, and “they point their supercomputers at our minds: news feeds, notifications, and apps climb down our brainstems, hollowing us out for our attention.”
Addiction to the internet is one thing- and mind control and influence operations with real actors-actual predators at the switch is another thing entirely.
But ethical tech professionals are gradually resisting these military/corporate/intelligence agency social experiments, social engineering collusions, and the accompanying gang stalking in “darkness”, and asking the question “what is WRONG with the internet?”
Time Well Spent is dedicated to re-framing the discussion around connectivity in ways that others are not-they are no blaming the victims for example, and looking at the internet as what Facebook is ‘designed to steal your time.’
Have a look around ROGS and ask yourself-how are you spending your time? And especially-has reading ROGS increased or decreased your knowledge, or improved your life? Have a guided you or misguided you into knowledge about OGS?
Well, if the dozens of people who peek in here every day from all over the world are any metric, it seems that many do find this blog valuable-in fact, 12 countries peeked in yesterday alone! As I have said-this site is not designed to harm you, or capitalize on you-I write ROGS for free, because it’s the right thing to do. And, to point you in the RIGHT direction, after you have been gang stalked online AND off.
From Time Well Spent:
Our minds are being hijacked by technology.
What began as a race to monetize our attention is now eroding the pillars of our society: mental health, democracy, social relationships, and our children.
What we feel as addiction is part of something much bigger.
We are former technology insiders, and we’re concerned about an invisible problem that’s affecting all of society.
Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Google have produced amazing products that have benefited the world enormously. But these companies are also caught in a zero-sum race for our finite attention, which they need to make money. They are forced to out-do their competitors by using increasingly persuasive techniques to keep us glued. Then they point their supercomputers at our minds: news feeds, notifications, and apps climb down our brainstems, hollowing us out for our attention.
Unfortunately, what’s best for capturing our attention isn’t best for our well-being:
Snapchat turns conversations into streaks, redefining how our children measure friendship.
Instagram glorifies the picture-perfect life, eroding our self worth.
Facebook segregates us into echo chambers, fragmenting our communities.
YouTube autoplays the next perfect video, even if it eats into our sleep
Have a look around ROGS, and take note that while many are waking up to the corporate influence operations, few will tackle the intelligence agency, institution level experimentation that is also in action. Add it all up-and form your own opinion. about who “they are” and use your opinion to then pursue a proper legal claim, or put your gang stalkers on notice.
For my part, I was thrilled when I found the links between gang stalking and politics, or the link between mass shooters and domestic violence and Rotary Clubs that advise police and FBI agents to stalk stalkers, and more .But mostly, I was overjoyed when I found the link between hidden practices on the “live” internet and Fusion Centers as nexus of political targeting, as you will see in my case that some really bad people do even worse things when they are hidden behind their computer screens, spanning continents and sniping at speakers online.
Your journey of discovery might be different, but when you have the aha moment, you will know it. Here was one of mine, which was the literal “beginning” of an actual civil and criminal conspiracy, that happened exactly as I have outlined herein, and it involved local, state and federal programs, social engineers, and hidden practices at the internet switch and more-and it targeted pure speech online, and it’s subsidiary presumption of privacy.
Because each case of gang stalking is slightly different circumstances, with different outcomes, your case will also have different actors involved. But if you follow the guides and guidelines that are here at ROGS, you will find the links you need to make your case-and to validate the fact that an open internet is a good internet-as long as we can work together against these cockroaches who hide n darkness all along OUR internet backbone, doing bad things from behind the disguise of being “good guys.”
