Try not to focus on patterns- some say that patterns can indicate mental health issues.
But one “psychometric” of the success of crisis PR in the classic Bernaysian framework is the causation of mass shootings, and the public’s ‘reliance’ upon mass shooter drills to ‘educate them.’
Oh- and trauma induced bonding, of course.

Ever notice how police departments and their accessory community club cheerleaders ALWAYS reward the worst actors in their ranks?
A school shooting in Spokane Washington yesterday, on the thirteenth of September by a kid who had been “on the radar” took the lives of one, and wounded three others.
And, it was reportedly a janitor that stopped the shooting.
From UPI, we also see that-like many if not ALL of the so-called mass shooter events, an “active shooter drill” had taken place just the day before. Try not to….oh never mind:
“Annie Baxter, who has two daughters attend the nearby middle school, told The Spokesman-Review children were running into buildings and an alarm was sounding.
“They did a modified lockdown drill yesterday,” she said. “I thought it was weird because they wouldn’t do [a drill] two days in a row.”

Rotary Club blogger asks “Why do you distance your brand from certain industries or merchandise?
If I were a cop, a public servant, or someone charged with “public health” I would think that this pattern of mass shooters being “on the radar” for awhile, and then, the other pattern, where “active shooter drills” take place “coincidentally” close to these events would be an indicator that something is amiss. You can research that ‘amissing’ link yourself, but try not to make yourself…oh never mind.
And what might that something be that is amiss?
I dunno- I’m jus’ doin’ mah’ job as a blogger. I dunno. They don’t pay me enough to figure it all out. But from what I can gauge, here are some links below- and I welcome any and all refutation, or alternative explanations, if such can be found… which they can’t be, other than these are part of the OGS framework, and the associated “mysterious and hidden processes” of those who have placed themselves as God, hidden behind every internet transaction, and every online discourse, and pre-empted the Constitutional due processes, and the Bill of Rights guarantees, and, …etc.
HEY! I have an idea! Let’s ask the Rotary Club’s Internationale’ about “who sponsors mass shooter events”!!!
Let’s first look at “brand management, Rotary Clubs, and gun control lobbyists
Why do you distance your brand from certain industries or merchandise? Obviously, because you feel that a connection could potentially hurt it. In this singling out of “weapons” it is clear that the Board thinks that Rotary is universally negatively impacted by a Club’s use of the Rotary logo in an advertisement for a Club fundraiser in which a rifle and archery bow are displayed, alongside a sponsor’s logo for a local gun and archery shop. To those of us who think differently, the opposite is true.
This is a revised version of the post I made on Monday, Feb. 27. Since my initial post, which was based on a Feb. 23 article “Rotary International Tells Clubs to Drop their Guns” by Larry Keane on the National Shooting Sports Foundation’s website, official Rotary documents have become known which support Mr. Keane’s article. http://www.nssfblog.com/rotary-international-tells-clubs-to-drop-their-guns/ Also, the rapid spread of the details of the Board decision has created much concern and anger among many US Rotarians, to the point that it is rumored that the Board will be holding an emergency meeting to discuss the situation as it stands now.
After my initial post, and an abbreviated version on the LinkedIn Official RI Group, I received some word that the information was incorrect, and that this was a “regional” decision not affecting the US. Since it appeared to come from sources who would know, I pulled my LinkedIn thread, and put a note on the post here. Subsequent to that, two RI documents came to me: a FAQ on Rotary’s Weapons Policy, and an item titled “B-16 Code Amendments: Weapons and Rotary Clubs, Districts and Other Rotary Entities”. What follows is based upon those documents.
Crisis PR, gun control, and ‘amissing links.’
*The search terms travis air force base shooting and “rotary club” returns just over 56,000 links.
*There are 122,000 Google hits for the phrase “rotary cub sponsors active shooter event”
*Here is a literal few of those links- do you see a growing connection yet?:
Hmmmm…. those links….

From Mother Jones: Active Shooter drills, trace formation, and crisis PR interact to induce trauma, and then, trauma bonding
MJ: “In the wake of the nation’s many recent mass shootings, and in the absence of any meaningful gun control that might stem them, employers and schools have started training their staff to respond should a madman with a gun turn up on their doorsteps. “Active shooter” drills have become the norm in many school districts and downtown office buildings; in many schools, such drills are now mandated by the state. But it turns out that bringing SWAT teams into buildings to simulate an active shooter situation doesn’t always make people feel safer. In fact, according to the Wall Street Journal, such simulations have seriously traumatized and occasionally injured people, sparking a wave of lawsuits.
The Journal tells several amazing stories of people who were injured or utterly freaked out during such drills, which often weren’t announced ahead of time. One involves a Colorado nursing home employee whom a man forced at gunpoint into an empty room at work. The “shooter” was actually a local cop and the gun was fake, but the nurse was so scared that even when the “shooter” finally identified himself as a cop after she started crying and begging for her life, she wasn’t really sure he was telling the truth. She was so traumatized that she had to quit her job and has since filed a lawsuit against the nursing home.”
